What is stomatitis?

Stomatitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth, in English literature it is often called “mouthrot” is a rotting mouth. The process can be local or generalized, acute or chronic.

Causes of stomatitis in snakes.

Almost all snakes reproduce sexually, with the participation of female and male. Only certain species are capable of parthenogenesis, i.e. the reproduction is not transmitted sexually, and from unfertilized eggs without the participation of a male.
